Government hides the truth

If you go to one demonstration and then go home, that's something, but the people in power can live with that. What they can't live with is sustained pressure that keeps building, organisations that keep doing things, people that keep learning lessons from the last time and doing it better the next time.

Power is a drug on which the politicians are hooked. They buy it from the voters, using the voters' own money.

PRESIDENT DECLARES WAR ON HIS OWN PEOPLE - 2014 3 YEARS TOO FAR

BINGU IS NOW AN INDICTABLE CRIMINAL - INCITES VIOLENCE AGAINST HIS CRITICS

Read the news at

http://www.nyasatimes.com/politics/malawi-ruler-urges-violence-against-critics.html

Is there something that we didn't know about being Chairman of the African Union? First Gadhafi and now Bingu, the two most recent former chairmen of the grouping. First Ghadafi declares war on his people and now Bingu has publicly discarded the Constitution which he swore solemnly on the Bible to uphold. While Ghadafi is bombing and slaughtering his own dissatisfied people, Bingu has given his blue shirted thugs permission to 'deal' with his 'enemies'. Mr. President, if you didn't have enemies before, you've now got plenty now.

When I started this blog I did so out of a great concern about where Bingu was taking this nation. Some thought I was being a little too strident or outspoken. My democratic antennae are tuned in to the slightest hint of a threat to our hard-won freedoms. They have not let me down. The tingling  feeling transmitted to every nerve in my body was caused by presentiments, forebodings of problems to come. The devil has now shown his true colours. No-one should find cause to excuse him. He is EVIL!
If this man continues to the end of his term Malawi  will be in ruins.
I call on all my fellow-citizens to resist to the last drop of blood the efforts of this madman to reduce us and generations to come to the status of slaves to his ego and lust for everlasting power.
Let this be a lesson to the young - the majority - never again to vote for an old man or woman.
I was serious some time ago when I said that he will re-open Dzaleka and Mikuyu detention prisons.
Watch this space.

  2. When governments lose legitimacy, all they can count on is violence and force. But even then, the recent experiences of Tunisia and Egypt show that violence itself is not sufficient to keep such illegitimate leaders in power. Bingu has lot it and needs to go.

  3. Its in our hands to get rid of this guy peacefully. I am not his fan, but as the same time I don't like the ideology of using westerners to come and take chances of stealing our resources like what they are doing in Libya. If you are a proper african, born and bred in Africa, you know and experienced poverty, you have the wisdom, you will never back these British/American what they are doing in Libya. Libyans and fellow Africans can solve that problem without any difficulties. Americans & British are pushing this guy for the benefit of them not Libyans. PLEASE LETS WAKE UP AFRICA. Ghana today is like UK and USA because the former leaders there were brave enough to refuse to dance to western tunes. WAKE UP AFRICA, WAKE UP AFRICA...LETS START LEARNING LESSONS. Again say NO BRITISH/ AMERICAN tunes.

  4. I've never regreted having a moron President than now. We have lost the hard won democracy. If only Bingu were there in 1992 and saw how we fought and won this democracy may be he would have understood and strived to uphold it.
I've no armoury but my mind and I will join those who speak aloud against this evil. Martin Luther King Jr once wrote: This world has to repent not because of the evil deeds of eveil people (like Bingu) but because of the silence of the good people.
Lets speak out Malawians and show this moron, we are sick and tired of his dictatorial tendencies

iwe Williams stop writing nonsense.when you talk about 'Our hard won freedom'what do you mean?

your people have never been known to be lovers of freedom.your people love to oppress and strive on oppression.
our hard won freedom was won by people with names like Chirwa,Banda,Chilebwe,Phiri etc against the evil hands of the likes of people with names like booth, williams, Wellesky etc
Dont insult Malawians intelligence by classing your deluded self with great sons of the soil.

williams i fell very sorry for you,You seem to be full of bitterness, paranoia and have a great lust for blood.
We the true sons of the soil, are a peace loving people, who love their president and government.take your hate mongering somewhere else, not here.

  7. Amfumu Triple OG. Thank you for the type of comment that brands you for the person you are. I do not hide behind false names. When I have something to say I say it openly and in my own name. Why are you such a coward as to hide behind a pen name? Reveal yourself and lett the people judge between us. I have no lust for blood. I do not advocate violence unlike our dear President who is quite clearly now desperate.

  8. Glad to see that this blog is not being blocked and that you are able to publish your views. Do you consider this a good sign or a temporary blip by the government in shutting you down?
